Social Media Post Sends Kolkata Metro Authorities All Excited

Kolkata Metro authorities had an intense day on Saturday and it had nothing to do with handling obstacles in administrations. The guilty party: a post turning into a web sensation on online networking.

A photo on Facebook of a lady in ethnic wear sitting inside a mentor getting a handle on a lever has been doing the rounds since December 10. The tag vehemently says: "Kolkata Metro Rail-er prothom Mohila chalika" (Kolkata's Metrorail's first lady driver).

Congrats and idolization poured in from netizens. Inquisitively, none of the posts uncover the personality of the individual. The mutual photographs are credited to Aloke Kumar Chattopdhyay, who in a few overhauls has reacted with a "much obliged" to the various greetings of "awesome post."


An area of curious netizens have likewise scrutinized the veracity of the photograph. "Dekhe toh mone hocche na (Doesn't generally seem as though it)," one composed.

Metro powers, immersed with approaches the post, elucidated it had no premise.

"I have gotten no less than 50 calls today (on Saturday) about this. It is not valid. The post appears to have circulated around the web," Indrani Banerjee, representative of the Kolkata Metro, told IANS.

Gotten some information about follow-up on the source, a harried Banerjee said: "I have not yet investigated it."

In any case, expectations for Kolkata Metro being directed by the more pleasant sex is not without reason.

Prior this year, the main train of the Chennai Metro Rail chugged out on its first venture with a 28-year-old recognition holder in building directing it on.
