After being on hold for
long because of specialized issues raised by residents bunches, the
Pune Metro rail undertaking is presently getting deferred over the
raising of assets for its development work even as the Pune Municipal
Corporation (PMC) is investigating an advance from the World Bank for
the task. "The Union government had looked for questions on
raising assets for the usage of Pune Metro rail venture. In this way,
the PMC has investigated the likelihood of an advance from World Bank
for the reason. There have been consultations with the World Bank
authorities who have indicated enthusiasm for putting resources into
the Pune Metro rail venture," said Municipal Commissioner Kunal
Kumar.
The budgetary points of
interest of Rs 6,000 crore advance from World Bank have been
submitted to the state government, he said, including the state fund
division investigated it and would soon be sending it to the Union
urban improvement department.The proposition then would be taken up
in people in general venture executive meeting of the Center before
sending for a last gesture of the Center.
Chairman Prashant Jagtap
said the Metro rail proposition is pending for long with the Union
government and it would be taken up in the meeting with Chief
Minister Devendra Fadanavis. "We would ask the central clergyman
to give an appropriate confirmation on the genuine execution of Pune
Metro rail venture," he said, including there would be different
other city issues in the meeting that would be gone to by Union
Minister Prakash Jawadekar and previous union pastor Sharad Pawar
alongside officials and city MP. Administering NCP in PMC had been
communicating dismay over the Center making less budgetary
procurement for Pune Metro rail.
