The
“Nagpur Metro Rail” is being made at a cost of Rs 8,680 crore while the “Pune
project” was formerly expected to cost Rs 11,420 crore. The GST (Goods and
Services Tax) will lead to the Nagpur Metro project cost going up by approx Rs
400 crore while Pune project will rise by about Rs 500 crore.
The
new GST government will increase the project cost of Nagpur and Pune metros by
nearly 5%. It was disclosed by Mahametro
Managing Director ‘Brijesh Dixit’. Dixit
was replying to a matter regarding the result of GST on railroad line work. “It
is predicted to extend the value of the project by regarding five percent,”
Dixit, United Nations agency is answerable to each Nagpur and Pune railroad
line comes, said. The increase is as a result of the tax on construction
material growing, per Dixit.
The
Nagpur railroad line is being designed at a value of Rs eight,680 large
