KOCHI: The work of the
Kochi Metro Rail venture, which was somewhat influenced by the storm
downpours, recaptured energy. As per the powers concerned, the common
works of the venture in the middle of Aluva and Maharajah's College
will be finished before the current year's over. According to the
information gave by the powers, a sum of 240 supports (counting "U"
and "I" braces) were introduced at the scope in the middle
of Aluva and Kalamassery. Another 340 supports were at that point
introduced in the middle of Kalamassery and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
While between the stadium and Maharajah's College, the contractual
workers have as of now introduced 130 "U" and "I"
supports.
There will be a sum of 16
stations in the main stretch of Kochi Metro Rail, in the middle of

These are Aluva, Pulinchode, Companyppady, Ambattukadavu, Muttom,

and Maharajah's College.
As per the authorities
concerned, almost 50 percent of the work of the stations are
finished. The remaining is relied upon to be finished by December
this year. "The regions in the compasses where the common works
are as of now finished can be given over for the laying of rails.
Case in point, in the majority of the zones in the middle of Aluva
and Kalamassery, the common works have been finished in extends
shifting to a length of almost two kilometers. These extends will be

concerned.
In the mean time, the
work of the mentor support yard at Muttom is additionally advancing
going full bore and the authority said that the cementing works of
the sub station building and the cabling shed for mentors is quick
